BizLedger POS
Client-side inventory, POS, and reporting platform built for rapid deployment in single-location businesses.

Context
The Challenge
A stationery shop and a general store needed a fast, reliable way to manage inventory, track sales, and monitor profits. However, they lacked the infrastructure to host or maintain a complex cloud backend. The system needed to instantly process both quantity-based items (pens) and weight-based items (KG groceries) with decimal precision, entirely within the browser.
Process
The objective for BizLedger was to engineer a lightning-fast, zero-latency point of sale experience operating entirely within the browser. Development focused on rigorous client-side state management and data persistence techniques using localStorage to eliminate the need for complex, costly backend infrastructure. The system required a highly flexible POS engine capable of instantly validating stock and processing mixed cart types—such as quantity-based stationery and weight-based groceries—with absolute decimal precision. This architecture proves that by maximizing modern browser capabilities, small businesses can achieve robust, real-time inventory management and visual analytics at zero deployment cost.
State architecture
Designed a highly structured, strongly typed client-side data model relying on browser localStorage to ensure persistence without a database.
POS engine
Built a real-time validation engine preventing the sale of out-of-stock items, handling mixed cart types (units vs. weights).
Multi-shop routing
Created isolated views for the Stationery shop and General store, plus a unified dashboard for consolidated revenue tracking.
Visual analytics
Integrated Recharts to provide instant visual feedback on sales performance, category breakdowns, and low-stock warnings.
